My name is Cyrus Epler. I am fifty-one years old and I am trying to start making money on the Internet. This page is intended to be my own homepage and I will eventually be linking to separate domains with various articles on subjects that interest me and that hopefully will interest others enough to want to buy books from authors that have inspired me.
I intend to do a better job of creating both this master page and the sites that will spring up from it, but for the moment, I feel a need to get something out there on the Web and get things rolling. Some of the subjects that interest me are personal fitness and self improvement. I don't know about the rest of you out there, but I know I could both be more fit and could use some self improvement. I have frittered away a lot of my life and now I really want to get going to create the kind of life I have always wanted. I hope that the people that have inspired me will now help others be inspired.
One of my main interests has been economics. It has been through my study of economics that I became a libertarian. I strongly believe that freedom is a fundamental necessity for human progress. For us all to fulfill our potential, we must be able to pursue our dreams. To read more about this please visit my site on Economics of Freedom.

I have always followed the news. I consider myself pretty well informed, but I disappointed with most of today's media. The reporting seems to be shallow and mostly of the 'he said, she said' variety. Often I read a story and find no real information, just quotes from various politicians and celebrities leaving me to wonder just what it was they were commenting on so that I could make up my own mind about what happened. I often have commentary that I would like to write about the day's events, so I decided to set up a blog to do so: While Reading the News.
